Trust The Process

A Patient’s Recovery Story

Concussion Pain

When I was facing the possibility of a re-tear of my ACL and needing a second surgery, I was devastated. My previous experience with physical therapy had left me feeling unsupported, both physically and mentally. But everything changed when I started going to Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab

My mother went to Camden Catholic High School and she had a friend who recommended Dr. Andrea Davis to us. As this was my second surgery, my mom and I wanted to find a PT we trusted. Dr. Davis was also a Camden Catholic High School Alumni, and that connection was a reassurance we could trust Davis PTSR as I underwent my second surgery.

The team at Davis made me feel like a part of their family from day one. Dr. Andrea and Dr. Antoinette became my biggest supporters and friends, and I even connected with other patients who shared similar experiences, which helped me feel more at ease.

Throughout my treatment, I used a variety of cool equipment at Davis PTSR, including Blood Flow Restriction, which wasn't the most comfortable experience but truly helped me in my recovery process. I also appreciated the Alter Gravity treadmill, which allowed me to gradually build up strength and confidence in my knee.

Thanks to the support and care I received at Davis PTSR, I not only regained my physical strength but also found a new sense of confidence. I overcame my childhood stutter and fear of speaking, and I now feel like a whole new person.

The phrases "Hate us Now, Thank Us Later," "Expect More," and "One Day at a Time" perfectly resonate with my experience at Davis PTSR. "Expect More" isn't just about the physical recovery; it's about the mental and emotional support that Davis PTSR provides. It's not just a physical therapy place; it's a forever family, no matter the injury.

I hope my story inspires others who may be facing similar challenges. Thank you, Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, for being an integral part of my recovery journey.
